**ATTENTION**  This opportunity requires a minimum donation of $1,250.00

The DI serves meals to hundreds of Calgarians accessing our services every day, including bagged lunches for clients who may be at work or out of the shelter during the lunch hour. Meal Sponsorships allow us to provide our guests with a thoughtfully prepared, nutritious, and filling meal. Your contribution will provide nourishment and empowerment to those experiencing homelessness, an integral piece in helping them on their journey to find housing, develop a support system, and regain independence. Give the gift of food security!

Shift Details: 

Parking: The DI offers NO parking stalls at main shelter location (1 Dermot Baldwin Way SE). We recommend walking or taking transit when coming in to volunteer at our main shelter.

Entry: Please enter the building through the doors on the north side (4th Avenue) of the building. Please utilize the red buzzer button to notify our security team that you are here to volunteer.

Age Requirement: As of November 2024, volunteers must be 18 or older.
