Our kitchen staff is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help prepare meals, sandwiches, and snacks for the hundreds of people we serve with love and care each day.
We are looking for extra hands to assist with:
- Preparing Juices: Help create refreshing drinks that bring joy to our guests!
- Making Sandwiches: Craft tasty sandwiches that put smiles on faces.
- Plating Food: Present our meals beautifully to enhance the dining experience.
- Washing Up: Keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently.
What You Need to Know
To become a Kitchen Helper, you’ll go through a thorough onboarding process, which includes an interview and a reference check. Training will be provided online and in-person.
Key requirements:
-Must be 18 years or older.
-Legally eligible to work and train in Canada.
-Provide one professional reference.
-Intermediate to advanced English proficiency is essential.
Note: Previous volunteer experience at the Drop-In Centre will give you a competitive edge!
